“Arrival” is in my top 5 films. However, the Ted Chiang story left me cold, as I missed some of the more poignant relationship elements in the film. Hmm 🤔 perhaps take another look? 💗 Love Ms Oliver’s list! And the Tao de Ching. I usually reread it every year, one passage a day. 🙏🏽 Thank you for this.
